Challenge
Environmental crime, including poaching and trafficking of wildlife products, is the fourth largest crime in the world. Rangers protect the worlds nature reserves, but are dealing with increasingly adaptive, violent and professional criminal networks. By the nature of their job, rangers work in remote locations, for organisations who often have limited resources and cannot provide training at the level required to ensure the safety and efficacy of ranger operations.
Description
By creating an e-learning platform that is useable by rangers in the field, we provide free access to training content on fundamental topics such as Human Rights, Basic Forensics, Emergency Field Care, Dealing with Stress, etc.. This is a relatively low-cost solution to develop as it is endlessly scalable and fast to update to changing best practices in the field.
