Regenerative accountant and economist working in service of life
2010
I am Chartered Accountant who also holds an MA in Regenerative Economics (Distinction) from Schumacher College. I completed my training with Deloitte in London and was a manager in their Big Ticket Restructuring Team during the 2008 global financial crisis, before moving on to hold international CFO positions. I am a Senior Fellow at Dark Matter Labs and I also run a small regenerative accounting and economics practice that is committed to building practical tools for life-ennobling economies. As part of this I enjoy collaborating with a brilliant cohort of peers from diverse discipline who challenge and inspire me in the best possible ways. The Value Translation Lab is a current start-up initiative that I am excited to put my energy behind as it addresses one of the most entrenched deep code blockers of our times; economic value perception. We live in a complex, interconnected world where a relational understanding of value is critical, but we lack the psychological frames and structural infrastructures to respond appropriately. In the course of my 20-year career as a professional accountant I have bumped up against this conundrum continuously and I am now shifting to focus my attention in this area.
