About Counting Change
Counting Change is a collective of humans who work in or close to the accounting and bookkeeping industry. Accountants and bookkeepers connect every single business in the world, and therefore we have a unique opportunity to shape all businesses, and change the future. And further, I would argue our unique position in society creates an obligation to make the world a better place, for those who come after us. Counting Change began with five founding members (humans running successful accounting firms) working through a ten step process looking at "business as usual" from ten different aspects, and making changes to become more ethical, sustainable and impactful. It is growing into a community of 'small a' activists who are looking to transform the accounting industry, through campaigning, activism, spreading ideas, and most importantly, through action.
