About Good Ancestor Movement
Good Ancestor Limited (‘GAL’), known as Good Ancestor Movement, is a non-profit organisation which is disrupting mainstream ideas about the economy, wealth stewardship and the redistribution of resources and power in society. We challenge harmful economic narratives and support wealth holders and the advisory sector, to play their part in creating a more equitable society and building ecological resilience through radical wealth stewardship, and reparative and regenerative redistribution. We exist to accelerate the just transition to a new economy anchored in ecological and social wellbeing, by leveraging the power of private capital. Our work is framed through the lens of what it means for individuals and organisations to become ‘good ancestors’.
