The WeAct.Today system allows the creation of intervention areas called ACTIONS, for which an institution, association or administration is responsible. The geolocated app allows citizens to report hazards or perceived risks with a simple message, photo, or video. From the web console, action managers have a dashboard for real-time control over the actions they activated.

Communities need effective ways to monitor and improve the safety and quality of their environment. Public resources and facilities managers often struggle to involve and engage citizens in the joint solution of environmental and social security problems.

Description

With the WeAct technology, public resources and facilities managers can involve and engage citizens for the joint solution of environmental and social security problems. Communities can monitor the safety and quality of their territory while companies can activate Corporate Citizenship programs for local communities.

Outcomes

Activated 80 actions by 2017 across the country, involving 10,000 stakeholders. Plans to expand to the international market by 2018. Partnerships with assurances for the assessment, prevention, and reduction of flood risk.
