Many students and teachers do not know which professions exist today. Students often finish high school with limited knowledge of potential careers, mostly knowing the professions of their parents. This lack of awareness is problematic, especially as the pace of technological advancement accelerates. Students need guidance to understand not only the professions of today but also those of tomorrow.
Description
The Ting Interactive Symbols Table serves as a toolbox for learning about current professions and preparing for future ones. It connects young minds to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), facilitating investments in topics of interest and enabling collaborative innovation. The platform allows students to select three main topics of interest and get matched with peers who share those interests, fostering multidisciplinary thinking and collaboration.
Outcomes
Created a collaborative platform for students to explore and innovate together, increased awareness of various professions, promoted multidisciplinary thinking and linkage to global SDGs.
