Challenge

School closures widen learning inequalities and hurt vulnerable children and youth disproportionately. From the beginning of 2020, the novel coronavirus outbreak emerged and is spreading around the world, which becomes an ongoing public health emergency of international concern.

Description

DotEdu refers broadly to ensuring continuity of education and its related activities to support children's resilience and well-being and reduce anxiety during an emergency as remote e-learning solutions can mitigate the immediate disruption caused by COVID-19 and establish approaches to develop more open and flexible education systems for the future. DotEdu has been built to assist institutions in automating their processes and enhance remote learning. This also means that these tasks can be done solely by the system, freeing up those involved to perform more important tasks. Some of the most common uses include: Data Management, Fees collection and management, Finances management, Transport and Hostel management, Attendance management, Parent, Student, Teacher communication tool, Inventory management, Exam - Results management, Online Teaching via ZOOM etc.
