Slum-2-School Initiative

The project is designed to address the lack of access to quality education for children living in hard-to-reach slums in Nigeria.

The project enrolls students in school with the support of community-based and professional volunteers. The project follows a 2-phased monitoring strategy that includes weekly reports from community-based volunteers and quarterly oversight by skilled professionals.

The project has enrolled 320 students in three schools within Lagos state, Nigeria.
