Description
STL's methodology involves creating digital maps using GIS/GPS technologies, community workshops, and capacity building of land administration officials. The goal is to validate and officially recognize STL's digital maps to promote transparent land management.
Outcomes
Facilitated community validation and ownership of STL's digital maps; capacity building of land administration officials; started land reform discussions with government; established pilot projects in Goma's Volcans neighborhood.
