Challenge
Seva Mandir Bridge Schools aim to address the lack of access to quality education for marginalized, out-of-school children in remote rural areas of southern Rajasthan, focusing predominantly on tribal children who are often first-generation learners.
Description
Education Programme staff and field staff make regular monitoring visits to the schools using a monitoring form to capture visit details. Feedback is used to improve the program. Standardized tests are conducted every two years to track learning abilities, and follow-ups are conducted to track the actual status of enrolled children.
Outcomes
The program has increased student enrollment and ensures that educational materials such as uniforms and lunch boxes are provided, enhancing educational participation.
