Challenge

From March 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 lockdown, many lost their jobs and moved from being gainfully employed professionals to being unready job seekers living with uncertainty. Long-term unemployment can have serious negative consequences for the individual, society, and its economic system. Individuals who face a prolonged period of unemployment are more likely to lose some of their job skills and may find it harder to find employment as more and more time passes.

Description

Savvy kicks off with a rigorous 12-weeks e-learning experience. Savvy Fellows learn everything from ideation to scaling a venture. Some of the things they learn during the program are ‘understanding your customer’, ‘building a product or service that effectively solves their key challenges', and ‘effectively positioning your solution in the market.’ During the program, Fellows receive mentorship, which is a great way to gain a practical understanding of their chosen industry.
