Challenge
Traditional survey approaches often fail to capture the opinions of certain populations, especially those in fragile or difficult-to-reach areas. The need for accurate and representative data on public perceptions, especially on sensitive topics, remains critical for various organizations and sectors.
Description
RIWI samples random, non-incented, individuals across the global internet population using its patented RDIT technology. This ensures access to opinions from people who do not sit on panels and are otherwise overlooked by traditional methods. The surveys provide a safe and anonymous platform, encouraging honest responses, and are effective in capturing data from underrepresented groups.
Outcomes
RIWI has surveyed over 100 million citizens for various global NGOs and multilateral organizations, such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Bank. Their data has been used to inform policy and development work, including projects on women's roles in the Middle East, open government initiatives, and food security in Haiti.
