OverviewContributors

Challenge

The misuse and overuse of antibiotics in broiler chicken farming is causing the emergence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, which poses a global health threat. Broiler chickens of a 42-day cycle are major users of antibiotics, contributing to this issue.

Description

Our innovation involves the use of an innovated feed additive Gazelle 11 and a water feed supplement Gazelle 33. By following the Gazelle Farming Protocol, we raise broiler chickens with no antibiotics, ensuring the same productivity levels but with higher safety and improved meat quality.

SDGs

Responsible Consumption and ProductionGood Health and Well-being

Outcomes

1. Avoided the use of antibiotics in broiler chicken farming, contributing to the fight against antibiotic-resistant bacteria. 2. Improved the safety and quality of broiler chicken meat. 3. Provided a cost-effective and healthier chicken meat option to consumers. 4. Supported food safety culture and informed consumers about the health hazards of antibiotic residues.
