In Mexico, people from the base of the pyramid lack access to quality and affordable mental health services. Public hospitals' infrastructure is limited, causing delays in treatment. For example, it takes more than two months on average to receive psychiatric consultation even in critical situations. Private hospitals charge relatively high prices, unaffordable for the base of the pyramid.
Description
We reduce costs by basing treatments on the latest neuroscientific discoveries, employing technology-based solutions like video calls, and working as direct distributors of two major pharmaceutical companies. This allows us to provide necessary medications at the lowest market prices while maintaining profitability.
Outcomes
Reduced costs for mental health services, increased access to treatment for underserved populations, improved mental health due to timely and affordable care.
