OverviewContributors

Challenge

Every person in the world is either seeking solutions or hope or validation in an unbiased, truthful and personal way. The more diverse the perspectives the more choices it presents, and appeals to the person in a unique manner. There are more than seven billion of us on Earth, and there will be no sustainable development if we cannot learn from each other.

Description

Understanding wisdom through the lens of life lessons is significant because it eliminates the creation of stereotypes and transcends cultural context. Project FUEL focuses on the creation of a knowledge base of human-interest stories to bring a two-fold benefit to the community-to have people relate to someone, by tapping into our natural curiosity in the lives of others, and for long-term understanding and analysis of experiences to navigate through challenges.

Outcomes

Project FUEL has collected over 1,53,000 life lessons and impacted people across 11 countries. The project recently expanded to Tanzania and Sweden and is seeking further global expansion. In the next five years, FUEL aims to impact 10 lakh people through workshops, social media, digital series platforms, and an app.
