Challenge
Access to health is a human right. However, 36% of Argentines do not have organized health coverage, the public system has serious structural deficiencies. The situation becomes dramatic if we look at what happens with children under 17. In 2019, 22.6% did not consult a doctor. 45.3% did not visit a dentist, and 52.7% have no social work or private health coverage. NCDs ascend to worrying figures and harm the future of childhood. The poorest Argentines find great barriers to accessing health.
