Challenge

The domestic worker sector in Bangladesh is largely unstructured, leading to unstandardized service quality and unstable income for workers. Economically challenged women, particularly those from the bottom of the pyramid (BOP), lack training and financial security.

Description

Poripaati is a platform to seek domestic help services which include cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. Poripaati recruits economically challenged women, known as "BUBU" (sister), who are either already in the profession or seeking income opportunities. The platform ensures quality service through training programs and verification before employment.
