Children from poor socio-economic areas often face more barriers to learning and live in environments where they have less professional support, such as from occupational therapists.

Description

We focus on upskilling teachers and parents so that more children can be supported.

Outcomes

This project was started in 2009 in Masiphumelele and expanded to include Philippi in 2012. Each year approximately 50 teachers, 200 parents and 1000 children have benefited through classroom and parent workshop support.
