Challenge

The East Africa Inter University Council Report of 2014 notes that of the estimated 900,000 Tanzanian youth entering the job market, 6 out of 10 do not have job ready market skills. In addition a publication by Kelvin M. Mwita which is in the International Journal of Human Resources Studies (2018, Volume 8. Description

Using machine learning and gamification, we envision Niajiri as the tool that will have an impact to over 2.5M youth across Africa over the next 5 years through either the use of our tools (CVs, contextualised assessments), access to our curated online curriculum or matched to opportunities. We seek to be the employability platform that youth access to gain employability skills and the go to platform for employers when it comes to talent acquisition and development in Africa.
