Description

Mobbisurance gives smallholder farmers access to affordable crop insurance via a mobile app. The farmer is able to register for insurance, pay their premiums and receive payouts through the app. We use satellite imagery and weather data to monitor the growth of the farmer and crops and once a farmer experiences a loss on his farm, a payout is automatically disbursed to the farmer without the need for a claim. Through the app we also update the farmer with regards to crop health, weather, produce prices etc.
