Description
Maternova has screened and now distributes over 40 innovations, making it easy for frontline clinicians to focus on clinical care while we research, test, then market and distribute disruptive innovations. We believe that complementary medical devices should be marketed, sold, and distributed together for maximum efficiency. Maternova has a non-profit arm called Maternova Research, through which we research and test innovations with partner clinics, midwives, and obstetricians in the field. We use a proprietary screening process to determine whether, based on clinical, regulatory, and user testing reviews, the platform should carry the product. We then negotiate distribution agreements with the product's entrepreneur, inventor, innovator, or developer, and market and sell the product into select low-resource settings.
