Challenge

Free Online School by Ruangguru addresses the problem of asymmetrical information, which occurred during the sudden implementation of mandatory distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ruangguru acknowledges that some schools in Indonesia were not prepared to conduct distance learning, which relies heavily on the use of technology. Hence, the free online school, taking form in live teaching accessible through mobile phone, aspires to fill in the educational gap.

Description

Free Online School by Ruangguru provides free access to everyone during the distance learning period to study on Ruangguru app safely at home. Every day, Free Online School conducts live teaching from qualified teachers from 8 AM simultaneously for 18 grades (from grade 1-12, including social and science tracks for HS and vocational school). Free online tryouts are also available for students, while teachers can utilize free online training to help them in adapting to the current condition.
