Poor Quality Agro-Inputs. According to FAO, Close to Shs14b is lost annually through counterfeit Agro-chemicals. Counterfeiting is highest within herbicides, maize seeds especially Hybrid varieties. Famunera seeks to close the supply Gap for Quality Agro-inputs in Uganda

To ensure our customers, the farmers get Quality inputs, we source them directly from the Manufacturers and Large Distributors. We also go ahead and provide free advisory service on usage of the Inputs to ensure they are used correctly and in right amounts. Farmers sign up/ register on Famunera using their National ID number and telephone contacts, a process also facilitated by Village Agents. Once verified, farmers can search for and order what they need on the platform, select a payment option, and confirm the place of delivery. The items are collected from manufacturer partners or distributors and dispatched to the farmer's delivery location.

Enhanced the incomes of smallholder farmers by providing a reliable source for quality agro-inputs and services, reduced the impact of counterfeit agro-chemicals through direct sourcing from manufacturers, improved market access for farmers' produce through a web and mobile platform.
