Every year Malaysia throws in the landfill more than 1 billion USD of precious metals in a form of e-waste. Those metals contaminate the soil and our food and drinks. So we came up with a highly scalable idea that will enable everyone to earn money while saving the environment.
Description
Our solution is very simple with just 3 steps: If you have e-waste at home/ office and want to throw it away, then you will: - 1: Go to our app, book a free e-waste pickup - 2: Our hero comes at your doorstep collects all of your e-waste - 3: After we receive the items, we calculate your cash reward and send it to you via bank transfer or e-wallet on the same day. * In 2019 we collected more than 200,000 devices, which means more than 100 tons of e-waste!
Outcomes
Our pioneering e-waste recycling service has proven highly successful with over 200,000 devices collected in 2019 alone, resulting in more than 100 tons of e-waste recycled. We have created new job opportunities for low-income groups and provided refurbished laptops and smartphones to high school students as part of our CSR program.
