Challenge

In Uganda, they don’t have a word for Autism. They use terms like 'cursed,' 'stupid,' or 'mad' instead. The lack of awareness leaves children with developmental delays at risk of severe danger or abuse. embraceKulture is working to change this.

Description

ekulture uses mobile phones to empower parents, teachers, and persons with disabilities to become agents of change, guiding them on the journey from awareness to advocacy. It is an e-learning web platform providing courses and information for self-paced learning and immediate application, optimized for low bandwidth distribution and mobile viewing.
