Challenge
Since 1996, TCF has been addressing the lack of access to high-quality education for children from low-income families in Pakistan. This effort is crucial in a country where the public education system often fails to deliver quality education in underserved areas.
Description
TCF conducts project monitoring through its existing management systems and control mechanisms. Country-wide coverage is divided into 4 regions and then areas. Students enrolled in this program are monitored, and data is entered at the area offices by the field officers, and tracked by a centrally managed school management system. M&E also involves classroom observations, tracking school performance, and an evaluation process where performance is measured against key performance indicators.
Outcomes
- International recognition for contributions to education for underprivileged children
- Over 900 school units in 97 towns and cities
- Providing education to 126,000 children from low-income families
