Deafness is an invisible disability. Communication barriers between Deaf and hearing individuals make information accessibility difficult, leaving Deaf individuals vulnerable to being left out of development issues and susceptible to Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
Description
A four-tier solution advancing Deaf Right inclusion and reduction of GBV: 1. Adopting Film for edutainment on GBV and Deaf rights in Sign Language. 2. Developing a SRHR-sign language App. 3. Partnering with Deaf learning institutions to build SRHR champions and clubs. 4. Partnering with Private and Government institutions to mainstream Disability rights.
