Challenge

The government of Botswana needs an innovative solution as an action plan to digitally transform the health sector and provide screening and monitoring. Healthcare providers have limited resources to focus their attention and capacity where they’re needed most with enough supply of personal protective equipment. The government also needs a mobile-based solution to disseminate information to avoid panic, stress, and fake social media.

Description

CoronAssist is a groundbreaking innovation designed to widen access to corona screening and monitoring, prevent spread, empower millions to take control of their health, and significantly aid in flattening the COVID-19 curve. The solution works on smartphones and traditional cellphones, with core components developed and running in a confined environment for a quick time to market. Key tools include a WhatsApp bot, USSD, PPE E-commerce, Chatbot, COVID-19 map visualization, web portal, social impact assessment tool, COVID-19 tracker, COVID-19 digital health pass, and BW Coronavirus banner.
