We live in bubbles and work in silos. The scale of the problems ahead of us is far larger than what government alone can solve, leaving out everyday citizens at the local level. Global leaders seeking systemic change are not making issues personal, relevant, or actionable at the local level.
Description
Civic Dinners uses technology to bring diverse voices to the table over food for structured conversations on important issues. By working with organizations, cities, nonprofits, companies, and governments, Civic Dinners designs and scales community conversations that create safe spaces for critical discussions, helping break silos and moving cities towards addressing crucial issues from mobility to prosperity.
Outcomes
In the past year, Civic Dinners has brought on 14 new clients, launched over two dozen conversations on its platform, secured its first corporate client (Facebook), and is ready to scale to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
