Challenge

Poor methods of protecting people from the spread of COVID-19 such as sanitizing only hands and leaving other parts of the body have contributed to the increasing number of people affected with COVID-19. According to a WHO COVID-19 report on 19th April 2020, without serious preventive measures, millions of deaths could occur.

Description

Building a medical device, the Automatic Mobile Whole Body Sanitizer Machine, designed to sanitize an individual's entire body, ensuring they are virus-free after passing through it. The devices will be mobile and used in public places like banks, airports, bus stands, railway stations, schools, ports, hospitals, churches, markets, and mosques.

SDGs

Good Health and Well-being

Outcomes

Successfully prototyped and tested; aims to reduce the spread of COVID-19 by sanitizing entire body directly.
