OverviewContributors

Challenge

Many young schoolgirls from disadvantaged backgrounds miss school due to lack of information about puberty and menstruation and access to sanitary products. This program seeks to address this issue and reduce school absenteeism.

Description

The program provides free sanitary towels, information about puberty and menstruation, educational resources, and motivational talks. It also monitors attendance through school registers and plans to develop a more sophisticated monitoring and evaluation strategy.
