Equera is rebuilding tourism from the ground up - digitizing community-based tourism (CBT) to restore equity, visibility, and ownership to local communities. We’ve developed a B2B SaaS platform that connects community-based organizations (CBTOs) to global markets, empowering them to take control of their growth and sustain their impact on their own terms. Using GenAI onboarding, communities can describe their experiences and instantly generate online listings across B2B and B2C channels. A WhatsApp-based CRM consolidates all bookings, simplifying operations even in low- connectivity areas. Equera also provides training and product support so CBTOs can professionalize their offerings and strengthen revenue streams. We also work with tourism boards to help them find, map, and promote local community-run experiences so travelers can easily discover and book them. Our approach transforms tourism infrastructure itself - shifting power and profit from external actors to local hands.
